Hi Bree, Related, check out Cal Newport’s newest book, Slow Productivity.

In my youth, I was a fan of the group Supertramp. One of their songs, Take the Long Way Home, became a mantra on my corporate commute, and continues today, post corporate. I skip the expressway in favor of driving down streets and drive through communities for the first time in forever/ever just to break up the monotony. I also get better economy with my electric car. :)

I love your posts like this — it's so fun to get a different peek into who you are! 😊 Also, +1 to granny hobbies. I recently got into needlepointing and it has been so great to turn to in my free time (and work breaks) rather than endlessly scrolling!

Dear Bree,

Each of your posts reflects your lightness and large-heartedness.

Genuinely enjoy your insights.

Humbly, offer you a daily experiment:

How may you curiously observe the workings of the Nespresso machine during those 15 seconds?

With admiration,

🙏
